Session 1: Who Are You in Christ?
Most people answer the question “Who are you?” with their job, role, personality, or achievements. But none of those actually define who you are. In this teaching, we go deeper and uncover the foundation of the Christian life: identity in Christ.
In this session we explore why identity precedes behavior, and how misunderstanding who you are can keep believers stuck in cycles of striving, insecurity, and performance. The Bible reveals that our actions flow from what we believe about ourselves at the deepest level.
We walk through the biblical story—from creation to the fall to restoration in Christ—to understand how God originally designed humanity to live with significance, security, and belonging, and how those needs were distorted after the fall.
The good news?
Everything that was lost in Adam is restored in Christ.
This teaching will help you:
• Understand your true identity in Christ
• Break free from performance-based Christianity
• Renew your mind and experience real transformation
• Live from who you are, not for who you’re trying to become
If you’ve ever struggled with insecurity, striving, or wondering if you’re enough, this message will help reset the foundation of your faith.
