Sept 16 — Religious Defilement

Jesus confronted the Pharisees over traditions that had been elevated to the level of God’s Law. In Matthew 15–17, we are reminded to carefully distinguish human traditions from God’s truth and to recognize that evil comes from the heart. God alone is the source of morality and truth.
