Times & Seasons
God works through times and seasons, and learning to recognize the season we are in is an important part of walking in spiritual discernment. Ecclesiastes 3:1 reminds us, “To everything there is a season, a time for every purpose under heaven.”
In this sermon, Times and Seasons, Lois Flewelling explores how God moves us through different spiritual seasons—seasons of preparation, growth, transition, pruning, breakthrough, and new assignments. What God required in a previous season may not be what He is asking of us today, which is why we must remain sensitive to the leading of the Holy Spirit.
How do you recognize when a season is changing? What is God developing in you during your present season? Are you holding onto something God is asking you to release, or hesitating to step into something new He is placing before you?
This message will encourage you to look beyond your circumstances and ask a deeper question: “Lord, what season am I in, what are You doing in this season, and how should I respond?”
When we understand God's times and seasons, we can stop resisting the process, recognize His hand at work, and move forward with greater wisdom, faith, and confidence.
