Discerning the Times
We are living in a time when there are countless voices competing for our attention, but the Church is called to do more than simply observe what is happening around us. We are called to discern the times, recognize what God is doing, and understand how He wants us to respond.
In this message, Discerning the Times, Lois Flewelling explores what it means to develop the kind of spiritual understanding demonstrated by the sons of Issachar, who “had understanding of the times, to know what Israel ought to do” (1 Chronicles 12:32).
How do we recognize when God is shifting a season? How can we distinguish between what is happening naturally and what God is revealing spiritually? And once we discern the season, how do we know what our response should be?
This message will encourage you to move beyond simply reacting to circumstances and begin asking, “Lord, what are You doing in this hour, and how do You want me to respond?” As we remain close to the Holy Spirit, He can give us wisdom to recognize His activity, understand the season we are in, and respond with faith, clarity, and obedience.
God is looking for believers who don't merely know what is happening, but who have eyes to see, ears to hear, and hearts prepared to respond to what He is doing.
Listen to Discerning the Times and be encouraged to grow in spiritual discernment and become increasingly sensitive to God's purposes in this season.
